"Sometimes I Feel Like A Motherless Child"

The WilyGoats are the right kind of live blues and roots band for any place and any occasion. With a repertoire that includes songs everyone will know as well as off-the-beaten-path blues, rock-n-roll, and swing classics, they can take a roomful of people and work them into a rockin' reelin' frenzy with raw from-the-gut energy and soulful penetrating grooves. With thumpin' drums and bass in the rhythm section, two smokin' and croonin' guitars, a wailin' harmonica, and two distinct and talented vocalists, the Goats cover plenty of musical territory.

Working bars, festivals, and house parties in the Lehigh Valley, Bucks County, and beyond for the past five years, the WilyGoats have honed an uncompromising sound and energy that can fill a room and shake the floor. Not content to be a one-sound band, the Goats draw from a wide range of styles — from the hard driving Chicago shuffles and boogies of Magic Slim, Little Walter, Muddy Waters, and Hound Dog Taylor to the crooning soul of Freddy King to the deep Louisiana vamps of Slim Harpo to the driving rock of Chuck Berry and Stevie Ray Vaughn and everything in between — and infuse each with a reelin' and rockin' heartfelt groove that sends feet stompin', hands clappin', and hips shakin'.

The Goats play to and for the house, big or small, and never so loud that people can't mix and mingle and have a good time. And this is not a band that's too cool to listen to the audience and host — the Goats will always work with you to provide the show that you want to hear. If you say crank it up, we do — when you say bring it down, we do that too! Now that's the way live music ought to be!
